After a number of wipes (due to dodgy internet connections) and a server reset that ended our raiding last week. We ventured back into Naxx, with Kel'Thuzad on notice.
Thursday didn't dissapoint, Construct and Plague quarters went with (relative: 4 wipes on Gluth) ease. The Arachnid Quarter was another story altogether. During this we all seemed to suffer a serious bout of "Arachnphobia" Friday saw us finish the job. Construct quarter went easy. Sapphiron took 2 tries, but didn't challenge us. Then the drama started.
Before KT even activated, Taff went afk, and got spawn smashed by the adds. Someone called for a wipe, but the rest of us had other ideas. A few minutes later he went pop and we partied on his throne. |

The Velocity Gaming assault on Naxxramas continues. Tonights victim were Heigan and Loatheb. Heigan saw a few wipes, before he bit the dirt in a perfect effort (resulting in the above achievement). Loatheb went down in a new guild/joint raid best time. WWS for the fight can be found here. Hopefully we'll get detailed stats for all our raids (as long as someone remembers to /combatlog at the start of the run and /combatlog at the end and mails it to me), i just happened to jump in mid Heigan and forgot to start the combat log till Loatheb. |

As some of you know (seeing as most of us first met via SCMgames), the SCM Gamers network has been dismantled due to innactivity and lack of interest (both from the player base and Admin teams). Instead of just letting a friendly, generally well informed player base wander off and find new sites to discuss games n stuff. The forums have been moved to www.intelligentgamers.co.uk the links with the uni have been severed, and topics once banned can be discussed once more (although i'm sure a lot of previously banned subjects will remain just that). hop on over and help usher in a new era. |

Sometimes - it's just fun to go backwards - and that's what we did this weekend , A weekend of old school instances and fun, and not a lichking nor a betrayer to be seen for a county mile . Thanks to our friends over at Twisted Fury We managed to get enough people together to have a good run at the crispy critter himself Ragnaros . After proving we were too hot for even a fire lord to handle we skipped over to Upper Blackrock Spire with attunement on our minds - attunement for BLACK WING LAIR - Howver as you can see , it's missing from our achievment haul. It was bugged - and it failed us , FAILED US . So today we carried on our attunement theme and our got ourselves a sexy skeleton key , so we could enter Scholomance with two things in mind - our classic dungeons achievement and the key master achievement - alas Scholomance proved no trouble to us, and made us weep with memories of the old world. We did wipe once , however, we can say three words... SPACE GOAT FAILKNIGHT , and as we only have one DeathKnight that can be called that, I'll leave it up to your imaginations. |
